Cascara Tea

Notes: 

Earthy, tamarind and sweet hibiscus.

Loose leaf single-origin cascara tea from  Finca Quetanquira, Honduras. Cascara is an herbal tea. It is created from the dried outer berry of the coffee cherry that is removed during processing. 

This is a caffeinated tea.


Preparation:

Hot:
Use 1 gram of cascara for every 30 grams of hot water off the boil.
Steep for 5 minutes.

Cold:
Use 1 gram of cascara for every 15 grams of hot water.
Steep for 15 minutes.
Pour over full glass of ice.
